About Us

Breakwater Barbecue grew from years of hands-on experience, starting with bartending in San Francisco, learning butchery, studying small cooking classes, and eventually running Native Catering through word of mouth. A simple backyard BBQ class sparked a lasting passion for traditional offset-smoked barbecue, leading to countless test cooks and a clear sense of purpose.

Now rooted in my hometown of El Granada, Breakwater Barbecue represents the next chapter. Our goal is to bring people together over honest, handcrafted barbecue made with care, tradition, and a love for the craft.
