We’re thrilled to share that Breakwater Barbecue, the Michelin Guide-recognized Texas-style barbecue destination beloved up and down the California coast, has expanded into a striking new location on Highway 1 in El Granada, just north of Half Moon Bay. Known for our slow-smoked meats, semi-smashed brisket burgers, butcher counter, and coastal country kitchen — featuring tacos, sandwiches, and just-baked cornbread — Breakwater brings “barbecue by the beach” to a larger, more visible space with room for locals and visitors alike to savor our signature flavors. Since opening in May 2025, our pit-master classics and thoughtful local touches — from smoked fish to local pours on tap — have made us a must-visit stop on the Coastside culinary map.
